Building Self-Esteem at Camp : One of the most important gifts a child can be given is a sense of confidence in himself or herself; the knowledge that he or she will be able to meet a new challenge.  Camp is a key place for children to succeed and acquire this fundamental skill!

Our counselors are great mentors and a crucial force in helping campers succeed.  Counselors can directly teach campers new skills (like how to make a bounce pass in basketball) but there are other important skills that they are teaching indirectly through their encouragement and support.  As counselors encourage campers to keep trying, children learn persistence.  As counselors cheer on a camper’s achievements, children learn to trust themselves.  What an amazing gift!

At Camp Riverbend Day Camp, your child can experience the most memorable summer ever—in a safe, nurturing and caring environment dedicated to growth, friendship and fun! A full range of sports, crafts, swimming, nature and more! At Riverbend, we applaud effort and enthusiasm, fun and camaraderie and camp spirit. The Breene Family welcomes you to our camp family! All Saints “Around the World” Summer Camp

Does your school get out early?  Before the Fourth of July weekend?  Well, extend the school year with two weeks of summer fun, including World Games, Cooking, Yoga, Trivia, and Art at All Saints Day Camp.  We are happy to announce that this year the theme, “Around The World,” will visit the continents of Asia (week 1) and Australia and Antarctica (week 2).  Camp will include tie-dying, group challenges to compete for points (to help you with the final group trivia at the end of the week), and weekly trips to Tomahawk Lake AND the Asbury Park Splash Ground, along with a handmade camp memory book.  A final group trivia game and slideshow will round out each week.

This camp is for students entering First Grade through Seventh Grade.  Each day, families should send their children to camp with a snack and lunch (unless otherwise noted on the daily schedule).  Each child will receive a camp t-shirt (week 1) that they will tie-dye (note all campers will get a t-shirt, but if they only come week 2 it will not be tie-dyed).

Camp begins at 8:30 each morning and ends at 3:30 each afternoon, with extended care available until 6:00pm for an additional charge.  At $1,000 for both weeks or $550 for a single week, and $20 per day and only $80 for the full week for aftercare, this summer camp is the most exciting, action-packed and cost-effective summer child care available.
