Mix the yogurt and honey together with a spoon until well blended. After blending, put your mixture in the fridge for a few minutes until chilled. This helps create a soothing and refreshing feeling on your skin. Carefully apply the mask mixture to your face. Let sit for 15 minutes until the mask sets, then rinse with tepid water. Apply your favorite moisturizer.

Banana, Avocado, and Honey Face Mask

The cold weather of the winter season can take a negative toll on your skin, leaving in dry and lifeless. This mask is the perfect solution to revive your skin, leaving it feeling oh-so-soft and moisturized. Banana is a great natural moisturizer for your skin because it contains Vitamin A, which help to restore lost moisture and repair damaged, dull, and dry skin. The glutamine and amino acids present in avocados cleanses your skin and offers protection against harsh environmental factors. Also, they contain antioxidants that help to reduce wrinkles, giving your skin a more youthful glow!

You will need:

  • 1/2 avocado, pitted
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Place the avocado and banana into a bowl, and mash together. Drizzle in the honey and blend the mixture well. Place in the fridge for a few minutes to chill. Apply this to your face, and let sit for 20 minutes> Rinse off with warm water and gently pat dry with a clean towel.

This particular mask contains all-natural ingredients that have an abundance of vitamins and antioxidants that will leave your face more moisturized, soothed, and absolutely glowing. Let’s get started!

You will need:

  • 2-3 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon buttermilk
  • 1/2 banana, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Whisk the ingredients together until they are evenly blended. The mask should be thick enough so that it doesn’t run down your face when applied. (Test the mask on a small portion of your skin to make sure you do not have any allergic reactions. If allergy-free, continue application) Apply a layer of the mask to your face and allow it to sit for 20-30 minutes. Wash off the mask with warm water, then immediately follow up with a splash of cold water to close your pores. Apply your favorite moisturizer.

Note: If you have dry or damaged skin, you may want to reduce or even leave out the lemon juice. Instead, substitute this ingredient with an equivalent amount of honey.
