If your child wants to participate in the egg hunt, be sure to check the schedule of events as there will be different time slots for different age groups. The younger kids can be accompanied by parents, and older kids will have the opportunity to search for eggs on their own. This surely is the most favourite Easter Egg Hunt in Jersey City. Since it was a huge success last year and we received lots of positive feedback from families.

There is also a time slot for kids with special needs.  Be sure to check the schedule and RSVP to join in on the fun!

Our Easter Egg Hunt in Jersey city is a candy-free event, and once kids collect eggs, they will turn them in for treats, ranging from gliders to necklaces. Be sure to bring your own Easter basket or container. Children will have lots of space to search for eggs and there will be lots of supervision as students from NJCU have volunteered to work at the event, ensuring that everyone has a good time and is safe while participating. The day will also include dance performances from NIMBUS Dance Works and Next Step Broadway. A DJ will be spinning tunes and there will be food vendors and other local businesses and schools represented.  And of course, the Easter Bunny will be on hand to meet and greet all the revelers.

Our partner in this event is HPNA and we have worked together to keep this event free for our community.
Both JCFamilies and Hamilton Park  Neighborhood Association are non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations and will have donation boxes at the event if you would like to donate to ensure that the Great Egg Hunt and other community-based events stay free and accessible to all families in Jersey City.

  1. This is going to be great, my niece had nothing planned for her 2yr old twins. I googled easter egg hunt in jersey city, and Hamilton Park popped up, thanks

  2. Egg hunt is on 03/31 Saturday @10 am?
My kids are 5 yrs and 10 yrs and they can participate in the event?
    What is the price please

  3. Went for the first time this year and was very disappointed. It was very unorganized which caused parents to push their way into the area to look for eggs. I saw one child lose a shoes and my 2 year old cried because of all the commotion. We ended up leaving without getting any eggs
