New Year’s Eve Cruise

Take the whole family along for a night of New Year’s Eve fun on the New York Harbor! Kids and parents can dance the night away, play Wii games, enjoy treats, party favors and more. This event is best suited for older children, as the cruise boards at 8;30pm and sails until 12:20am. Tickets are $169 per child ages 3 – 12 and $199 per adult. Family packs are available for $700 (2 adults and 2 children).


12 Days of Science

Join them every day for festive adventures and fun, including a science-made hockey rink, liquid nitrogen ice cream, penguin and owl presentations, holiday shows in the planetarium, and more.

Don’t forget that they are  open with extended hours on Dec. 26 from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, and Dec. 27 – 30 from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm.


Holiday Lights Spectacular

You still have time to check out Holiday Lights if you haven’t already done so this season. Holiday Lights will be open on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day from 5pm – 9pm through January 1. The zoo will not have Holiday Lights on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. However, Holiday Lights will be open on New Year’s Day, although the zoo won’t be open during the day. The event is free to the public, though donations of canned goods, toys and pet food are encouraged.
