If your kids love digging, discovering, and dinosaurs – boy have we found the best event for you! At Liberty Science Center, this dino dig is educational and heaps of fun. According to the website:
“Guests will have the unique opportunity to experience a paleontological expedition during the exhibition, working alongside LSC’s Dino Dig Guide Team to discover replica fossils of prehistoric creatures from the late Cretaceous period buried in the 35 tons of sand that will cover the specially designed space.” So, let your kids explore the rich history of the past and have fun while doing it! On July 19th, 2017 Newport Beach in Jersey City will be hosting their annual beach party and concert. The cost is free and there will be tons of things to do with the whole family. There will be free live concerts put on by some amazing local bands and you can purchase a delicious dinner to eat right on the beach. The best part is you get to take in some amazing NYC skyline views while to relax on the beach with your dinner. It is a magical night you can enjoy with family. On June 28, 2017, is outdoor movie night at Washington Blvd & 14th St, Jersey City, New Jersey 07310. It is located in Newport Green Playground. The movie playing will be Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Movie description: “Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) travels from London to New York City with a briefcase full of magical creatures, or fantastic beasts. When he arrives conflict ensues when some of the creatures in his care are accidentally released.”
