Films in Van Vorst: Van Vorst Park, Jersey City

Van Vorst Park is an excellent location if you are looking for movies in the parks in and around Jersey City. A team of volunteers annually utilize this beautiful outdoor space by providing our

community films and popcorn each summer. Enjoy the movies at Van Vorst Park in Jersey City this summer. The park gets set up every other Wednesday night, and the movies will begin around 8:30 pm in June and July depending on the sunset and at 8:00 pm in August and September. The rain date for each film will be the following Wednesday.

Films in Van Vorst was envisioned, in 2004, as a way to combine these elements and to generate an environment where we could meet and strengthen our sense of community while finding new and imaginative ways to utilize of our beautiful park. We were the very first outdoor film series in Jersey City.

The magnificent city of Jersey City puts together a Movies in the Park In And Around Jersey City which is hosted in numerous parks throughout the summer. Each year, movies in the parks in and around Jersey City get more exciting as the movie titles are always classics or just-

Outdoor Movie Nights: Newport Green, Jersey City
