Jersey City always offers vibrant and delicious food options, and even though COVID is still here, we can’t help but admire these amazing businesses that bring us new cuisines and food to try out! We are lucky to have an array of food options that include indoor and outdoor dining in Jersey City. Also, more expanding! Therefore, we decided it’s time we create this list of new food spots you must check out.


130 Newark Ave, Jersey City 

Tamborim is a brand new Brazilian restaurant that is now officially open in the old Atlas space at 130 Newark Ave. Additionally, this new venture comes from the owner of Broa Cafe, another Jersey City favorite. They offer delicious Brazilian food and yummy cocktails.

Brick Lane Curry

136 Newark Ave, Jersey City

Brick Lane Curry is a London-style Indian restaurant offering spicy curries and other delicious Indian dishes! Additionally, they also have Indian-inspired cocktails.

Tino’s Artisan Pizza Co.

199 Warren St, Jersey City

They are now officially open in the Paulus Hook area in Jersey City. They offer everything from pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches, and more! It is located at the former spot of La Côte at 199 Warren Street.

Yaso Tangbao

30 Hudson St, Jersey City

They offer delicious Shanghainese street food, which includes their best-selling soup dumplings as well.


24 Mercer Street, Jersey City 

Eria Cafe is a Portuguese cafe and bakery that recently opened. They offer a ton of Portuguese baked goods and other yummy eats.

Roll & Roll

Roll & Roll is a new Korean addition to downtown Jersey City. They have offered Gimbop, which are Korean rice rolls.

Rig A Tonys Italian deli is brand new to Newark Avenue. Like many pizzerias, they offer a variety of Italian meats, cheeses, and pizza. They are in the former Cookies N’ Crepes spot at 195 Newark Avenue.

Another yummy pizzeria addition to downtown Jersey City. Jimmy’s Brooklyn Pizza & Deli (HALAL Food) has many options like your favorite pizza, pasta, salad, and more.

Saigon Bistro

Saigon Bistro is a brand new option to check out in the Heights of Jersey City. They stay true to their roots serving up authentic southern Vietnamese cuisine and Asian Fusion dishes to the local and surrounding community. The Cottage

The Cottage is a brand new bakery and artisanal market located in McGinley Square along Monticello Avenue. Automat Kitchen

Automats are like self-service vending machines where customers insert coins or use their cards to buy hot food. Now, this technology has come to Jersey City.  All you need to do is scan a QR code when you arrive to access the menu and then you can order and pay on your phone. Your food will be ready and directly in the cubby to be picked up.
