Last year, Jersey Cares collected more than 20,000 coats throughout the state of New Jersey. Companies, churches, police stations, schools and other organizations collect coats throughout the drive and deliver them to a central location, where volunteers then organize the donated coats and package them for pick-up. 9th Annual Holiday Toy Drive
Over the past eight years, we have raised nearly $45,000 through our Annual Holiday Toy Drive for underprivileged children in Jersey City. With the partnership of our good friends Gina Velliquette and Jason Velliquette, we have continued to make this event bigger and better. Each year our list of supporters grows to include more family, friends, and colleagues. Each year we’ve brought holiday cheer to more and more children.
Last year alone, we raised almost $11,000 and provided children in need with multiple gifts to make their holidays a little brighter.
There are many ways you can participate in the Toys Coats and Food Drives In Jersey City. You can directly contribute in kind or you can volunteer your time. It is in keeping with the spirit of the season and gives so much satisfaction for the contributor.
