JC Networking Night 2020(POSTPONED)

March 19, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Networking Night in Jersey City- New Year, New Goals, New Connections (POSTPONED)

Due to the current climate, we will be postponing this event. We will be updating you all soon with the new date and will be refunding you the entrance fee.

Thank you for helping to make our January networking event a success! Since there were many who weren’t able to attend and wanted another opportunity to meet up, we are hosting another networking night on Thursday, March 19!

Looking for an opportunity to make new business relationships? Needing a new collaborator to exchange new ideas? Maybe you want a chance to connect with local businesses?

We will have a couple of speakers share their experiences that will hopefully inspire more collaboration among the local small businesses.

Danielle Beam

Danielle enters her ninth overall year at New Jersey City University as the Associate Director of Athletics for Student Development and Senior Woman Administrator. Beam oversees The Rising Knight Institute (RKI). RKI supports the holistic growth of each student-athlete’s intellectual development, academic excellence, social responsibility, and self-empowerment, focusing on five pillars of success: academics, personal enrichment, leadership, community outreach, and career preparation.

Beam’s passion for student-development was the driving force for her decision to pursue her doctorate in higher education leadership. She is slated to graduate in May 2020 and hopes to use this doctoral platform to impact the lives of as many students as possible.

James Solomon

Ward E Councilman James Solomon believes in just and efficient government. James earned his Master in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and his BA from Pomona College. He is currently an adjunct professor at three Jersey City universities: St. Peters University, New Jersey City University & Hudson County Community College.

There is a $25 entrance fee which will cover drinks and snacks. The rest will be donated to JCFamilies.

JCFamilies is a local non-profit (501-c(3) which aims to serve the local families by providing events to build and encourage the community and provide information to support parents as they raise their children in the area.
