Riverview Park’s 2018 Dia de los Muertos Celebration & Parade
The Riverview Park 7th Annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration will take place on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Riverview Park, Jersey City Heights.
10:00 AM – 3 PM: Vendor selling Mexican hot chocolate and pan de muerto
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Free face-painting for kids
12:30 PM: Live music, Mariachi Band!
1:00 PM: Day of the Dead Puppet Parade, featuring puppets made by local artists and community members
2:00 PM: Riverview Neighborhood Association (RNA) Dog Parade & Costume Contest. Bring your outfitted pooch to the center of Riverview Park at 2:00 PM. Judges will announce the winners and give out prizes at 2:30 PM!
Co-organized by Farms in the Heights (Riverview Farmers Market) and Riverview Neighborhood Association (RNA).
