SUMMARY:JC Halloween Spooktacular: An Indoor Family Event in downtown Jersey City
DESCRIPTION:  \nPlease try buying your tickets now as we have the last few tickets left and as soon as we get sold out we will remove the payment link and would NOT be able to accommodate any one after that. We DO NOT sell the tickets at the door. \n  \n Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. \n  \nJC Halloween Spooktacular ’19: Halloween Costume Family Parade and Party \nDate:  October 27th (Sunday) \nTime:  12:00-4:00pm \nLocation:  Harborside Atrium (rain or shine) \nEntry fee:  $7 + PayPal fees (Per person) \nEvery individual will have to pay the entry fee(only 6 months or younger will not be paying the entrance fee). \nJoin us for the annual family Halloween event in Jersey City!  We’ll be sheltered under the Harborside Atrium in case of inclement weather and kids can enjoy an array of activities and entertainment. There will be a ton of spooky decorations and a picture corner. An additional nominal fee will be assessed for entrance to the bouncy house and for cookie decorating. \nACTIVITIES INCLUDED WITH ENTRY:\nMagic Show by Cisco\, the Magician\nWhich kids don’t love a magic show? Cisco the Magician does everything from classic magic to more modern magic. His show does include a beautiful dove that lights up the entire room. He has more than 10 years of experience in the art of magic and we can’t wait for the kid’s faces to light up when they see his show. \nPuppet show and Music by Rockasorri \nRockasorri’s puppet and music show is a super fun experience for the kids. Spark your little one’s budding imagination by sitting and enjoying our puppet show with your kid’s favorite songs! \n \nArts & Crafts Luna De Papel\nLuna de Papel (Paper Moon) is a handcrafting art studio. They offer handcrafting and DIY classes and workshops for adults and children. Their goal is to build self-esteem through self-expression that is more approachable\, authentic and sustainable than simple art. They will be helping children create Halloween spooky-themed arts and crafts. \n \nBubble Show by Lena’s Party\nAre your kids ready to play with giant bubbles? Lena will be having a giant bubble party for the kids. Lena specializes in kids’ birthday parties\, costume characters\, face-painting\, glitter tattoos\, art nails\, balloons\, Giant-Bubble show\, dancing\, singing\, games\, magic tricks. \nSoft Play Area for babies\nWe don’t want babies to miss the fun which is why we are setting up a fun soft play area for the babies to enjoy in. \n \nPhotos with Giant Characters \n \nDance Party with DJ Michael Demby\nEvent entertainer in New York and New Jersey\, DJ Michael Demby brings 20 years experience to your party\, wedding\, mitzvah\, or sweet 16. With the natural ability to cater the right music to any crowd at the perfect moment\, Michael prides himself on bringing the same passion and dedication to each and every occasion. Mention JC Families to receive a FREE lighting package with booking! \n \nSpooky Singers Kids Band\nProfessor David Musial who is an award-winning\, multi-platinum MENTOR to a multitude of students for over 25 years created this show. NextGen Stars is about the MENTOR who nurtures\, develops and maybe even “launches” the Next Generation of Stars. Students will be performing a scary spooky medley of Halloween songs. \n \nCostume Contest\n \nPrizes will be awarded for the best costumes in multiple categories. \nWe expect a big turnout\, so it is strongly recommended that families purchase tickets ahead of time.  Prices may increase closer to the event.  Tickets are non-refundable. \n \nSchedule: \n12:00 pm – 12:15pm – Spooky Singers Band  \n12:30 pm – Magic Show By Cisco The Magician(For Older Kids)  \n1:00 pm – Puppet Show + Music by Rockasorri at the play area(For Babies and Toddlers)\n \n1:30 pm – Bubble Show by Lena’s Party \n \n2:30 pm – Giant Characters \n \n3:00 pm – Costume Contest\n \nOngoing Activities: \n \nArts & Crafts\, Bouncy House\, Cookie Decorating\, Face Painting\, Picture Corner. \n \nPaid Activities: \nBouncy House\n \nCookie Decorating by Bread & Spoon\nBread & Spoon is a JC-based\, family-owned food business\, focused on local\, sustainable\, and organic ingredients for private and corporate catering\, family gatherings and celebrations\, and fun sweet and savory food and food projects for kids! We do everything from drop-off\, full-service catering\, adult and kid cooking classes and specialty baked goods. \n  \nThere will be some fun characters dress up for your kids to meet and take photos with. Make sure to stop by the picture corner to snap a family photo! \nPlease bring cash for these activities.\n\n Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.\nYou do not have to bring your tickets\, just show us proof of payment or let us know the name on the credit card which was used to make payment on the PayPal at event entrance. \nAttention Parents: If you have not received your confirmation email\, that ok. However\, in order to run this organization and these free events\, we host a few paid events each year to ensure that we can meet our budgetary needs and cover our capital costs for the year. Unfortunately\, we will not be able to offer any special discount or deal to any kids or any organization during this event.
