For an added adventure take the River Train to the Susquehanna Mine\, learn the History\, and learn how to pan for Gem Stones that you can take home! The trips pulled by Thomas take you along the beautiful Delaware River to North Carpentersville New Jersey\, a 25-minute ride. The River Train follows the same route journeying further along the river to Edinger’s with a brief stop at the “Old Susquehanna” gemstone mine. At the mine\, you may get off\, visit the mine\, and learn how to pan for gems. Each passenger receives a bag of mine tiling’s\, a brief history of the mine\, and use of the sluice to prospect for their very own gemstones they can bring home! \nYou may also purchase tickets on the day of the event for all trains although we advise that you purchase your tickets in advance. Alyssa also performs community/professional education workshops. \nAlyssa’s specialization is working with the pediatric population with feeding/swallowing challenges. She has worked in a variety of settings\, including outpatient centers\, early intervention in family homes\, school settings\, acute care\, and sub-acute facilities. Alyssa worked at the world-renowned Rusk Rehabilitation Center at NYU (NICU\, PICU\, general pediatric floor and outpatient center). \nAlyssa received her B.S. in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Ohio University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University. Spark your little one’s budding imagination by sitting and enjoying our puppet show with your kid’s favorite songs! \n \nArts & Crafts Luna De Papel\nLuna de Papel (Paper Moon) is a handcrafting art studio. They offer handcrafting and DIY classes and workshops for adults and children. Their goal is to build self-esteem through self-expression that is more approachable\, authentic and sustainable than simple art. They will be helping children create Halloween spooky-themed arts and crafts. \n \nBubble Show by Lena’s Party\nAre your kids ready to play with giant bubbles? Lena will be having a giant bubble party for the kids. If you are a new parent having trouble with this topic or want to learn how to transition into solid foods this workshop can help you! \nOn September 12th\, Alyssa Kane will be speaking about this topic at our workshop. \n \nAbout the speaker:\nAlyssa Kane\, MS CCC-SLP\, IBCLC \nAlyssa Kane is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with over 10 years of experience. Alyssa and her team of speech-language pathologists provide in-home speech and feeding evaluations and therapy throughout Jersey City\, Hoboken\, and Manhattan/Brooklyn. Her practice services infants through adolescents with a variety of feeding/swallowing difficulties and speech delays. Alyssa also performs community/professional education workshops. \nAlyssa’s specialization is working with the pediatric population with feeding/swallowing challenges. She has worked in a variety of settings\, including outpatient centers\, early intervention in family homes\, school settings\, acute care\, and sub-acute facilities. Alyssa worked at the world-renowned Rusk Rehabilitation Center at NYU (NICU\, PICU\, general pediatric floor and outpatient center). \nAlyssa received her B.S. in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Ohio University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University. Alyssa holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and is certified in both New York and New Jersey. Additionally\, she is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Maybe you’re still wearing an abdominal brace or you’re worried you have an abdominal separation. Maybe you’re still having some leakage or back pain? or perhaps a sense of heaviness and are afraid that working out will make it worse. Maybe you tried to dive back into your routine but found that things didn’t feel quite right.  \nThis lecture with Meghan Mizrachi is designed to provide clarity on the steps to take after pregnancy\, in order to have the confidence to achieve a pain-free lifestyle and reach your fitness goals.
