DESCRIPTION:Sleep Training Workshop With Miss Meg\nHello New Parents! \nWe love to see how much our parenting workshops help you\, so we are back with another one on Friday\, September 23rd\, from 10:30 am-11:30 am at Cafe Esme‘s patio\, 485 Marin Blvd\, downtown Jersey City. \nAre you having trouble getting good sleep routines for your kids? Knowing where to begin and how to help them sleep better can be a real struggle. Miss Meg will discuss the different sleep stages\, joint problems\, and tips to improve sleep for your little one. If you have been having trouble with sleep routines for your child\, this is the perfect workshop for you and will be super helpful! \nThe fee to attend the workshop is $12.  \nPlease note the entry fees will be $15 at the door for the workshop if you do not pay in advance. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  \nPlease fill out the registration form HERE.\n \nAbout Miss Meg: \nAs a world-renowned Early Childhood Development and Pediatric Sleep Expert\, Meg has helped over 6\,500 children globally learn to sleep independently (and therefore of course\, even more parents!). Considering she clearly knows a thing or two about this topic\, she will be holding a Live Workshop for JC Families to share some of her wisdom and insights to developing healthy and flexible sleep patterns\, and answer any pressing parenting questions you may have.\n\nShe developed Meg’s Method – a unique Consciousness-based parenting methodology for raising emotionally resilient and connected children\, based on her experience of over 25 years working in this field.\n\nMeg has worked with children in a wide range of settings and been a special needs\, twins and triplets expert for over 20 years\, a Montessori Directress and Baby Nurse for over 15 years\, has run 3 Montessori daycares\, and ran a Montessori Homeschool for over 8 years. She has also been a two-time surrogate (inc. a set of twins)\, and has two kids; Haiden 9yrs and Hazel 7.5yrs\, with another on the way\, due in Nov of this year.

DESCRIPTION:JC Kids Run 2024 – Special Needs Kids Run Sponsored By Smile Preschool\n  \n \nThis year\, we can offer free participation for kids with special needs in the Kid’s Run special needs time slot\, thanks to the sponsorship from Smile Preschool. \nSmile Preschool has been providing “preschool as family” environment for over 27 years to the children of Jersey City and their parents. We were the first preschool in the area to achieve Abbott certification in education. We are constantly working to provide the highest level of care for your little ones from birth to six years of age\, readying them for their next steps in education. \nIt’s time to register for our annual Kids Run 2024\, so mark your calendars! \nThis year\, we are again featuring a time slot for kids with special needs. The dedicated time slot will be the first in the day\, allowing kids with special needs to run before it gets too crowded and noisy. Parents or caregivers can assist their kids\, and wheelchairs are permitted. \nIt will be flat terrain\, and during the allocated time\, we want the participants to have fun and experience that will probably be their first one for many! \nKids at this time will not be timed\, and all of them will receive a medal. \nThe event will take place at Exchange Place (along the Hudson River) on May 18th\, from 10 am to 1 pm. DESCRIPTION:15th Annual STRIDE & RIDE: \nSaturday\, June 15th\, in Lincoln Park\, Jersey City\, from 10 am to 3 pm. \nEach year\, the Hudson TMA provides a fun and interactive outdoor bicycle safety program in June. Seventy volunteers work with our children at ten safety stations and obstacle courses affording a unique educational experience. The program is free and the children who wish to participate must have their bicycle and be accompanied by a guardian. \nFamily members\, parents\, and guardians with their own bikes are welcome to join in on the fun and lessons to learn. The rodeo is appropriate for adults as well. In addition to the rodeo\, there will be safety and health related information booths\, face painting\, and games. \nCompanies and individuals who wish to be sponsors or assist by volunteering are welcome.
