DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, March 28\, WomenRising will host our inaugural Rise & Stride Walk in Lincoln Park\, Jersey City. The walk raises funds and awareness for programs that support women and families in Hudson County\, and offers a fun\, inspiring opportunity for community connection. \nWomenRising has been the leading advocate for women and families in Hudson County for more than 120 years. We support women confronting domestic violence\, homelessness\, unemployment\, and other barriers to self-sufficiency through four core programs: Domestic Violence Services\, Permanent Supportive Housing\, Community & Economic Development\, and Youth & Family Services. Each year\, our services positively impact over 10\,000 women\, men\, and children. \nThe walk will be 1.8 miles\, two laps around the Lincoln Park Track.
