Knowing where to begin and how to help them sleep better can be a real struggle. Miss Meg will discuss the different sleep stages\, joint problems\, and tips to improve sleep for your little one. If you have been having trouble with sleep routines for your child\, this is the perfect workshop for you and will be super helpful! \nThe fee to attend the workshop is $12.  \nPlease note the entry fees will be $15 at the door for the workshop if you do not pay in advance. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  \nPlease fill out the registration form HERE.\n \nAbout Miss Meg: \nAs a world-renowned Early Childhood Development and Pediatric Sleep Expert\, Meg has helped over 6\,500 children globally learn to sleep independently (and therefore of course\, even more parents!). Considering she clearly knows a thing or two about this topic\, she will be holding a Live Workshop for JC Families to share some of her wisdom and insights to developing healthy and flexible sleep patterns\, and answer any pressing parenting questions you may have.\n\nShe developed Meg’s Method – a unique Consciousness-based parenting methodology for raising emotionally resilient and connected children\, based on her experience of over 25 years working in this field.\n\nMeg has worked with children in a wide range of settings and been a special needs\, twins and triplets expert for over 20 years\, a Montessori Directress and Baby Nurse for over 15 years\, has run 3 Montessori daycares\, and ran a Montessori Homeschool for over 8 years. She has also been a two-time surrogate (inc. a set of twins)\, and has two kids; Haiden 9yrs and Hazel 7.5yrs\, with another on the way\, due in Nov of this year.

The River Train follows the same route journeying further along the river to Edinger’s with a brief stop at the “Old Susquehanna” gemstone mine. At the mine\, you may get off\, visit the mine\, and learn how to pan for gems. Each passenger receives a bag of mine tiling’s\, a brief history of the mine\, and use of the sluice to prospect for their very own gemstones they can bring home! \nYou may also purchase tickets on the day of the event for all trains although we advise that you purchase your tickets in advance. The fee to attend is $7. \n \nAbout the speaker:\nAlyssa Kane\, MS CCC-SLP\, IBCLC \nAlyssa Kane is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with over 10 years of experience. Alyssa and her team of speech-language pathologists provide in-home speech and feeding evaluations and therapy throughout Jersey City\, Hoboken\, and Manhattan/Brooklyn. Her practice services infants through adolescents with a variety of feeding/swallowing difficulties and speech delays. Alyssa also performs community/professional education workshops. \nAlyssa’s specialization is working with the pediatric population with feeding/swallowing challenges. She has worked in a variety of settings\, including outpatient centers\, early intervention in family homes\, school settings\, acute care\, and sub-acute facilities. Alyssa worked at the world-renowned Rusk Rehabilitation Center at NYU (NICU\, PICU\, general pediatric floor and outpatient center). \nAlyssa received her B.S. in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Ohio University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson University. Alyssa holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and is certified in both New York and New Jersey. Additionally\, she is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. She is also a member of the Special Interests Group through ASHA\, Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders.
