Birthday Party Favors

Hi All,

I am in the process of planning my little girl’s first birthday party. I wanted to know the usual etiquette regarding handing out party favors – does each child in the family get a favor or can I give the party favor to the family as a whole.

To further clarify – I am looking at these preset favor boxes – which had multiple items, including, a notepad, crayons, a small plush toy, a squirter and a sticker. I am not sure if I should hand out two such favor boxes to each kid in the family…will it be too weird.
