Liberty Science Center’s New Touch Tank and Climate Time Machine Virtual Reality Experience
January 16 @ 11:00 am - December 30 @ 11:00 am

Liberty Science Center introduces two new interactive experiences—the Izzo Family Touch Tank and the Climate Time Machine VR viewfinder—as part of the reimagining of its longtime Our Hudson Home gallery. The Touch Tank features a 29-foot-long, 1,000-gallon, two-level riverscape habitat showcasing seven native Hudson River species, with hands-on encounters guided by trained STEM educators exploring how climate change impacts local marine life. The Climate Time Machine invites visitors to peer through a VR viewfinder overlooking the Hudson River and travel through time from the Ice Age to today and into possible climate futures.
