ufeffThere is still time to register for Enrichment and Advanced Math classes for children K through 8th grade at SchoolPlus Hudson.

Classes are taught using “Singapore Math” as the main method which has long been recognized in the US and Internationally as one of the leading learning methods that teaches students Math by concentrating on each topic in depth, thus creating a solid foundation in each topic, and subsequently building upon it rather than jumping onto an entirely different topic. The Singapore Math method emphasizes understanding of a problem and its solution rather than the “memorize and drill” approach often employed by other methods. It encourages development of such essential yet critically important skills such as logic, critical thinking and problem solving.

Our classes are small in size, and designed for children of all abilities, providing an environment for our teacher to work with each child, answer questions, demonstrate techniques and encourage a creative thinking process, all in an atmosphere of fun and success. Our students do extremely well in Math classes, achieve high scores on Standardized Testing, and are well prepared for entrance exams to selective middle and high schools. Many of our students compete in Math Olympiads where they achieve very impressive results.

Schedule: Saturdays, through December 17th (no class on November 26th)
Fee (10/15 – 12/17): $160 for 45 min classes (K – 1 grades), $200 for 1 hour classes (2nd – 8th grades)

We invite every prospective student to come to SchoolPlus as a guest, visit our math classes and find the right one that suits their skill level. Since children come to SchoolPlus from different schools, class placement depends more on students’ actual math knowledge rather than on their grade level.

SchoolPlus Hudson also offers classes in Advanced English, Chess, Art, Introduction to Piano, Early Logic and Russian.
