Hello Mamas,
My son is 26 months and interested in starting Marathi school at Paulus Hook/Jersey City neighborhood. It will be a small group (5 to7) of children in between 2 to 4 yrs. who can understand and speak basic Marathi language. This Marathi class will run twice a month for an hour by parents either on weekends or weekdays (evenings). The goal of the Marathi class: Children will be able to communicate fluently in Marathi, they will learn bal- geete and praarthna ,and an introduction of Marathi writing. There will be NO fees for this class as it will be run by parents. I have no formal training or experience in teaching Marathi but it is my native language.
