GOOD MORNING FROM THE HARRISON WEATHER CENTER, OUR FIRST COASTAL EVENT IS SHAPING UP FORTHURSDAYWITH RAIN AND WIND, LOOK FOR CLOUD TO INCREASE TODAY WITH RAIN DEVELOPING IN THE HOURS AROUNDMIDNIGHT.
THE RAIN CAN BE HEAVY AT TIMEON THURSDAYTHEN TAPER OFF AND END EITHER LATETHURSDAYORTHURSDAYNIGHT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ON AVERAGE IS EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 1 TO 2 INCH RANGE THIS COULD LEAD TO LOW LYING AREA AND POOR DRAINAGE FLOODING.
WINDS WILL ALSO BE GUSTYON THURSDAYFROM THE NORTHEAST AT 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUST UP TO 25 TO 35 MPH POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY AROUND ELEVATED AREAS AND WIDE OPEN AREAS ESPECIALLY OVER EASTERN SECTIONS. ANY LOOSE ITEMS SHOULD BE SECURED OR BROUGHT INDOORS.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 60S THROUGH THE ENTIRE EVENT AND WITH THE GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS IT WILL FEEL MUCH CHILLER.
