About JCFamilies Inc.
“Community is much more than belonging to something; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.” — Brian Solis.
Started in 2010, JCFamilies is dedicated to serving the families of Jersey City and the surrounding areas. We concur heartily with what Princess Diana once said – “Family is the most important thing in the world.” JCFamilies provide resources and information for the residents in the area. We bring families together to form one strong community.
JCFamilies provides essential resources and support to families to connect in the community. We proudly serve a fast-growing community of savvy local parents from diverse backgrounds.
JCFamilies is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
JCFamilies membership is FREE.
How do we connect Families:
ONLINE: JCFamilies is the largest and fastest-growing parent society in Jersey City. More than 60,000 local parents connect with us across JCFamilies properties: website, Instagram, Facebook, and newsletter.
EVENTS: There is usually one big event per month. Most of the events are free and are organized in public parks. We invite local businesses to participate in the events, helping them connect directly with the families. These events are attended to capacity and feature food, music, and entertainment. Some of our popular event highlights include magic shows, music shows, storytime, and outdoor sports.
Here are a few of the events that have successfully continued every year:
Education Fair: Over 40 education businesses participate in this event. This event is mutually beneficial for the local parents and the education businesses since it offers a platform for parents to connect with the school’s representatives directly to explore available options for their kids.
Annual Mother’s Day Celebration: Mother’s Day is celebrated by pampering our moms and entertaining the kids. A perfect combo that is popular with our families.
Halloween: Our Halloween Parade is the biggest in the area. An impressive group of drummers and stilt walkers leads the parade. This procession attracts a large crowd every year, making it a highlight of the community’s festivities. Needless to say, it is very popular with children.
Harvest Festival and Cultural Diversity Festival in Jersey City: Jersey City prides itself on its diversity. We celebrate this diversity and the multi-cultural populace of the city with the Harvest Festival and Cultural Diversity Festival. In this event, we have varied cultural showcases from different parts of the world. We also celebrate the fall season with food, music, and activities for the kids.
Educational Booklets: We annually print two educational paper booklets: One includes most of the summer camp programs offered by local schools and summer camps places, and another is for education programs offered by local daycares, public schools, private schools, and charter schools. This educational paper booklet has been circulated in most of the area’s highrise buildings and commercial establishments.
With so much to offer, JCFamilies invites all families from Jersey City and the adjoining areas to come and join us!

Hello!
We recently ran across your website and wanted to reach out. We’re currently casting a docu-series for a major cable network where we are seeking kids with psychic abilities (ages 10-16) and their families. The goal of this series is to help families navigate through this and give them the tools to thrive.
If you happen to know anyone who would be interested in meeting with us, we’d love to hear from them. Please have interested parties reach out to us at [email protected]
Thank you and Happy New Year!

Hi,
This is Gel, an outreach assistant. I wanted to find out who the best person is to speak with to contribute an article on your website?
I am looking to write an article that you can post on your blog. The article will be well-researched based on the large pool travel experts that our company has access to. In exchange, I was hoping that you could credit our online travel media site for providing the article to you. Please let me know if you would be interested?
Thank you,
Gel

Model railroad museum near me
The National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) is an excellent resource for finding model railroad museums near you. The NMRA website lists model railroad museums and clubs in the United States and Canada. You can search by state or province to find a museum or club near you. Additionally, many local hobby shops may have information about model railroad museums in the area.
