My ex husband and I amicably split in 2009. Our entire divorce cost 3500$ US. We went through a process called mediation where we sat down with a mediator and hashed out the details of what was best for our child. All parties agreed for what was best for our son. We were cordial throughout and the entire process was transparent.Please look into mediation if you are considering divorce. There is a wonderful resource called “the kids come first coalition” they are one Facebook!Remember, just because the two of you aren’t going to stay a family, the two of you plus your child(ren) will always be connected!
