Hi Ladies,

The Jersey City public schools offers a Pre-K program for toddlers 3-4 years old. To qualify you must live in the JC district and your child must be either 3 or 4 years old by Oct 1, 2011 (no exceptions).

The last day to enroll for the program is May 26, 2011.

You can fill out an application at Cordero PS 37 (158 Erie St/Hamilton Park area), Mon-Fri from 8:45am-11am or 1:15pm-2pm. You will need to bring the following:

• your child must accompany you
• birth certificate
• up-to-date immunization record
• proof of address (PSE&G bill and current rent/lease agreement)

Once your application is processed the school district will contact you in the summer to let you know which school your child can enroll at. Please note that Cordero school does not offer this program (though the registration is done there).
