Newport Tree Lighting
Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy will officially inaugurate the holiday season in Newport by lighting the tree in Town Square. Town Square will shine in the glow of Holiday lights with music, treats, and a visit from Santa and his friends who come to Newport at this time each year from the far away North Pole.
Additionally, there will be jugglers and other acts to entertain residents, guests, and visitors alike. Seasonal music will ring throughout Town Square, as complimentary refreshments and hot drinks will help keep the chill away.
