The 4th of July weekend is almost here, and you and your family can celebrate by watching some sparkling fireworks near Jersey City. Fireworks are a huge part of the 4th of July. Also, watching them with family and friends make it memorable. Specially picnic in the park, bbq, and kite flying. So much to do before the fireworks start. Jersey City’s 4th of July Fireworks over the Hudson River 

Join us on the 4th of July at the waterfront for a day filled with local eats, shopping, and music presented by Jersey City Night Market. Exchange Place Path Plaza, 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The evening will be capped by a spectacular fireworks display by the world-famous Fireworks by Grucci. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 pm and will be viewable along the Hudson River Walkway, parts of the Heights, and the north portion of Liberty State Park.

Jersey City’s Independence Day celebration has become a premier daylong event, attracting A-list talent since Mayor Fulop resurrected the event and grew it into one of the largest July 4th festivals in the region, drawing crowds of 150,000 people from all over the tri-state area.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks

The 47th annual Macy’s 4th of July fireworks sparkle over the East River, in a dazzling display featuring nearly 50,000 shells lighting up the night sky and launched from five barges set out between East 23rd and East 42nd Streets.

Pyro Spectaculars by Souza returns, featuring brand-new shapes and colors for their exploding shells. For a choreographed score, set your radio dial to 1010 WINS-AM.

Paramus Fireworks

On Sunday, July 3rd, from 6 PM to 10:30 PM, everyone is invited to come to watch fireworks at the Cliff Gennarelli-Paramus Sports Plex to watch beautiful fireworks and celebrate the 4th of July!

Annual 4th of July Celebration in Secaucus

This event is on Thursday, June 29th at 6 PM and is open only to Secaucus residents and their guests. Hosted at the Secaucus Swim Club, this event will have food, a performance by Xtreme Queen and fireworks show after dark.

 

Wildwoods Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular

CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON THE WILDWOODS BOARDWALK AND ENJOY THE JULY 4TH FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR AT 10 PM! These special fireworks are spectacular is synchronized to patriotic music playing over the Wildwoods Boardwalk sound system! Launched from Pine Avenue & the Beach, the fireworks are visible from anywhere on the Boardwalk. Fireworks at New Jersey State Fair

Fourth of July weekend would not be complete without a firework show, and State Fair Meadowlands is ready to put on a show-stopping display that you do not want to miss! The fireworks take place on July 3rd and July 4th and will be put on by Garden State Fireworks. Garden State Fireworks is a family-owned, award-winning pyrotechnics company that has created shows for Walt Disney World, Coney Island, and even Washington D.C. National Mall.

Ridgewood 4th of July Celebration

Join Ridgewood for its annual flag-raising ceremony in Wilsey Square at 9 am on Monday, July 4th, followed by a parade beginning at 10 am. This year as we celebrate the history of our great nation, we want to highlight the importance of freedom for all. “Let Freedom Ring” is defined as “A statement that the ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness should be spread across the Earth and allowed to flourish.” There will then be a beautiful fireworks show. Smithville 4th of July Parade (July 4)

A historic town of Smithville in Atlantic County hosts the largest 4th of July parade in New Jersey that attracts over 10,000 people. The procession starts at 9 am on Smithville Boulevard, then heads to Moss Mill Road and turns west on Moss Mill. It features floats, marching bands, reenactment groups, and Rolling Thunder motorcycle group.

4th of July Celebration at North Branch Park (July 4)

Travel back in time at North Branch Park in Bridgewater, where America’s Independence is celebrated with the Revolutionary War Encampment. North Branch Park opens at 6 pm. It allows picnics on park grounds. Visitors can take a blanket, some food and enjoy the fireworks that begin at 9:30 pm. The NJ 3rd Regiment Revolutionary War Encampment show offers free admission.

East Brunswick 4th of July Celebrations (July 4)

East Brunswick is especially festive during the 4th of July. There is red, blue, and white decorations all around Community Arts Center, live music, bounce houses for kids, and plenty of food vendors offering favorite treats. The event culminates with fireworks.

4th of July Celebrations in Summit (July 4)

Summit hosts Fourth of July celebration at Soldiers Memorial Field. Here you’ll find everything from children’s bicycle parade, live music, and entertainment to carnival rides and food trucks with a wide range of meals. Fireworks end the celebration at 9:15 pm.

4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza in Seaside Heights (July 4)

Seaside Heights borough of New Jersey is famous Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza that starts at 9:30 pm and lasts until 10 pm. A fantastic fireworks display on the oceanfront is visible from anywhere on the Classic American Boardwalk! Bring a blanket to sit down and enjoy the Independence Day.

Freedom Fest NYC 4th of July Party

This will be a huge family-friendly event with up to 1000 at an energy-filled party at Solar One on FDR Drove, with amazing views of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show. Dance the night away with water views while you wait for the fireworks to launch over the East River.

Take a Harbor Cruise

The very best location to see the 4th of July fireworks is right up close on the river. There are a couple of cruise companies putting on champagne, or dinners with live music to celebrate our independence with a bang.

Empire State Building
