Wallace Elementary School

Wallace Elementary School is a public school located in Hoboken. It has 605 students in grades K-5 with a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1. According to state test scores, 46% of students are at least proficient in math and 55% in reading. The district offers engaging, thoughtful and dynamic extracurricular and enrichment programs via the Passport to Learning Program as well. Wallace Elementary School also offers Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Wallace runs a comprehensive Gifted and Talented Program which includes the Johns Hopkins CTY Program.

Early Childhood Learning Center at Calabro

524 Park Avenue, (Grades PK3 + PK4)

This school serves three– and four–year-old-students. The school has a student-teacher ratio of 7:1, half of the teachers either have advanced degrees or hold dual certifications. For extracurricular and enrichment programs, the school offers these in theater, music, and athletics with the goal of mirroring the offerings in the elementary schools.

Joseph F. Brandt Elementary School

215 9th Street, Grades PK-5th

Joseph F. Brandt Primary School is a public school located in Hoboken. It has 500 students in grades K-5 with a student-teacher ratio of 21 to 1. According to state test scores, 85% of students are at least proficient in math and 65% in reading. Hoboken High School

Hoboken High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades, located in Hoboken. The school has a student-teacher ratio of 9:1, with 61% of the teachers having advanced degrees. In general, students perform below the state average in math, while in language tests, the results are about the state average level. Hoboken High School is an AP Capstone School with AP Scholars and AP Capstone Diploma Recipients. The Class of 2020 earned over 17 million in academic & merit scholarships. Additionally, they are home to local, state, & nationally recognized Theater & Marching Band programs. They also boast a vibrant Classroom Without Walls International Travel Program, the Seal of Biliteracy, the PLTW STEM Program, and send students annually to the Rutgers Pre-medical Honors Program.

Hoboken Middle School

Hoboken Middle School is a public school located in Hoboken. It has 339 students in grades 6-8, with a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1. According to state test scores, 22% of students are at least proficient in math and 52% in reading. Additionally, Hoboken Middle School offers Band, Orchestra, Chorus, and Junior Thespians, along with Project Lead the Way national STEM Curriculum. It runs the Johns Hopkins CTY Program and Odyssey of the Mind. In addition, students at Hoboken Middle School may select Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Italian, and French.
