JCFamilies Fall events in Jersey City & Hoboken
As we leave the sunny, hot days behind and approach winter, Fall gives us the chance to get ready for the chill and snow. It is like a gentle pause. The brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold leaves add a burst of color before the drab sets in. Look forward to pumpkin patches, apple picking, hot cider, and the crackle of a fire, along with layering sweaters or light jackets.
Kids wait for Halloween’s festive night of costumes, candy, and spooky fun. Adults get ready for Thanksgiving and spending time with family. On this holiday of gratitude, people
reflect on blessings, enjoy traditions, and kick off the festive holiday season.

Feministival Series- FUNtastic Summer: Back to School Picnic
Getting back into the swing of the new school year can be challenging, but this is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with your neighbors and community. An early September picnic is ideal for taking advantage of lingering warm temperatures and Hamilton Park’s vast outdoor space. JC Education Fair 2025
JCFamilies Education Fair is the only fair in Jersey City where you can gather information about and speak with representatives from primary Schools, Daycares, and Activity Centers in and around Jersey City and Hoboken.
Pre-K public schools, Private Schools, Daycares, Activity Centers, Charter Schools, and Public Schools will participate. Parents can come and get to know the local schools and activity centers, which would help them decide on the one that best suits their kids. This is an opportunity unlike any other!

When parents explore the schools, daycares, after-school classes, and activity centers in the annual Education Fair, our kids will be entertained by some talented magicians in the city, education and entertainment under one roof. Look out for entertaining magic shows performed by talented magicians, who are sure to captivate the attention of the kids.

11th Annual Cultural Diversity Festival in Jersey City 2025
Our 11th Annual Cultural Diversity Festival will be held with our Harvest Festival. It will be a day of celebrating our city’s fall season and diversity. An array of fun activities will be planned for the whole family, including pumpkin painting, arts & crafts, musical acts, and dancers.
