This is a 100% volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded on the concept of producing great events to raise money for children’s charities as well as bring the community together in the process. Additionally, volunteer meetings are held in Hoboken but there are plenty of events in and around Hoboken providing plenty of opportunities to join the team!

Jersey Cares

Hoboken Shelters

Since 1982, the Hoboken Shelter has been relentlessly pursuing its mission to improve the lives of the most vulnerable in our community. The shelter provides food, shelter, case management, counseling, skills-training workshops, and permanent supportive housing solutions to our guests. Liberty Humane Society

LHS is now a clinic for preventative pet care needs. 
Liberty Humane Society‘s mission was to foster a community of compassion and respect and provide animals in need with a chance at a lifelong, loving home. However, LHS is no longer an animal shelter or control facility. They now offer mobile, affordable spay/neuter and veterinary services, on a traveling truck, currently based in the Lyndhurst area.  If you do want to contribute in kind, you can find details here.

Hoboken Community Center

A 501(c)(3) that provides essential services & spaces to support the well-being of the Hoboken, NJ & surrounding communities.

Hoboken EMS

Their members have been loyal to their “We Care, We’ll Be There” motto since June 3, 1971. Currently, they have 10 EMS vehicles and 6 bicycles capable of breaking up into 3 teams used in the summer at special events. The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps has grown and changed over the years. Members are an all-volunteer group who are your friends and neighbors who respond to medical emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Hoboken Boathouse

NJ largest FREE kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and outrigger canoeing program! 100% volunteer based. They are an all-volunteer-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization made possible by your donations. Their mission is to provide free water sport programs and access to local waterways for all to enjoy.
