Procel offers different classes:
Little Champs (Ages 5 – 7): This 30 minute class is designed specifically to help students in this age group develop better listening skills to improve focus and perform exercises to improve body coordination and skill development for Jiu-Jitsu. All lessons follow a curriculum that is appropriate to the child’s current stage of development. Every class will have students engage in fun positional drills and mat chats to ensure they walk away with a better understanding of that day’s lesson.
Jr. Warriors (Ages 8 – 14): This 45 minute class is structured to provide students of this age group a more focused understanding of how to work with training partners of different skill levels and body types. While learning the foundations of Jiu-Jitsu for Self Defense, students will walk away with a better understanding of how to apply this safely by engaging in our positional sparring drills and leadership exercises to further develop your child’s confidence and focus.
Fundamentals of BJJ (Adult Program): Our core beginner program that introduces new students to the principles of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and how it’s applied for Self Defense. These 55 minute classes are designed to allow students to safely apply standing techniques such as takedowns and floor techniques that cover escapes and submission holds. Students will participate in partner drills and positional sparring drills to help reinforce the day’s lesson. Adult students of any age or fitness level will benefit greatly from this particular program.
