Fairy Trail House Building & Fairy Trail Festival

You are invited to add to the magic of the South Mountain Reservation Fairy Trail by building your very own fairy house for the 2026 House Building Contest. Houses must be made from natural, biodegradable materials as outlined in our guidelines and approved by our Program Coordinators before installation. Deadline for submission is April 12, 2026. Results will be announced at the Fairy Trail Festival.

This Spring Break, join Team Wilderness for a free week of outdoor adventures just for Hoboken youth! This gives teens a chance to try it all, from the water to the trails to the rocks. They have activities like kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, yoga hike, etc. Trips depart from Hoboken High School. Must be a Hoboken resident to attend.
